There is something truly magical about the morning when the earth is still and quiet. The dewdrops begin to melt off the leaves as the sun begins to warm the earth. The faint chirping of the birds can be heard in a distance.
The morning is a time for new beginnings, and on this particular Saturday morning, the 20th of March 2021, it was time for Tammy and Troy’s new beginning, the beginning of the rest of their lives.
The Barclay Studios team travelled to the Western Cape where they arrived at the charming Cellars-Hoenort Hotel located in Cape Town’s Vineyard in the heart of the historical Constantia Valley. This beautiful backdrop could not be more fitting for the elegant and stylish couple that are Tam and Troy.
As Tammy walked down the aisle time stood still while her husband-to-be and everyone along with him, was overwhelmed with emotion capturing their first glance at his breathtakingly exquisite bride. Tam wore a delicate and whimsical gown by AlënaLeena and The Wedding Boutique. Her flawless Makeup and Hair was by Shewolf and her stunning jewellery by Adwanment Jewellery. Her bridesmaids accompanied her in dresses made by Brigitta and the modern groom looked dapper in his House of Crouse Suit paired with Gucci shoes.
Family and friends gathered to watch the newlyweds solidify their beautiful union as they cut their exquisite and delicious cake made by Wades Cakes. Lush Flowers created a dreamy atmosphere by dressing the venue with luxurious floral arrangements while Secret Diary constructed the bespoke details of love.
Upon sharing their first dance as husband and wife, the warm light shone through the marquee illuminating this captivating couple and their beautiful journey ahead. The two only had eyes for one another as Tam effortlessly floated around the dancefloor, almost as through she was floating on a cloud. A white butterfly spread its wings and began fluttering through the crowd, reminding the pair that Tammy’s parents were forever watching over them and giving their blessing on this unwavering commitment.
Guests danced the early evening away and enjoyed the sounds of Cape Town’s best, DJ Socks. Videographer’s, Peanut Butter Visuals and Chad Nathan encapsulated all the incredible moments that this unforgettable day had to offer.
We were honoured to be a part of this beautiful love-centred fairy-tale between two soul mates. We wish Tam and Troy nothing but love and happiness for their future!
