From a romantic proposal in a private wine cellar surrounded by flowers and candles to a beautiful wedding ceremony surrounded by mountains and white blossom trees, Tamarin and Cody started their next chapter in their lives together.
The couple got married at La Paris in Franschhoek, which was fitting as Cody has a French lineage, Tamarin quipped.
For the ceremony, I loved the beautiful mountains that just take your breath away,” she said.
For the reception, the couple and their guests found themselves on a chic black and white floor, bewitchingly lit up and greenery hanging from the ceiling.
Tamarin and Cody shared unforgettable memories with their family and friends. Still, one of their highlights was the time they spent “alone” walking the grounds with the photographers to immortalise their marriage.
“Walking around the beautiful grounds taking photos together and then having those
moments captured to have forever.”
Other standout moments included their first dance and walking down the aisle.
The couple were especially delighted that Tamarin’s parents and her three brothers could attend the wedding while Cody’s grandparents travelled afar to be there on their special day.
Tamarin wore a timeless and elegant dress that only needed one fitting with Veil Bridal for her to know it was the dress she wanted.
Tamarin and Cody were also over the moon with the service by Barclay Studios, while the Bare Coffee was “really good”, as was the Hustle Ice Cream.
