Self-confessed adrenaline junkies Michelle and Matthew have embarked on their latest exhilarating journey, getting married between the ocean and the mountains, cementing a life love adventure.
Michelle and Matthew, who have been together for six years, share an unbridled love for adventure.
Matthew proposed during a trip to New Orleans while travelling down the Mississippi Delta with a stopover at one of the tiny islands.

“He took me over to this beautiful oak tree ‘for a photo’ and then got down on one knee. His parents were holding up a ‘will you marry me sign when I looked over at them. I was completely surprised,” Michelle said.

With the Covid pandemic abound, the couple had to postpone their wedding twice, but this did deter them, and their dream wedding finally got under way at the 12 Apostles Hotel in Camps Bay.
Barclay Studios was fortunate enough to capture their special day at the picturesque venue surrounded by sea and mountainous views.

“We had a traditional white wedding with roses and lilies, what I dreamt of my whole life. The ceremony was short, and the food was spectacular,” Michelle said.
“It was amazing to finally be able to celebrate it with our friends and family. My husband is amazing. I am so lucky to have locked in such a catch.”

“It was truly my dream wedding come true,” she added.
With their vows exchanged, the couple will now take on the next adventure of their life together.
“We love to try new things and travel to new places. Matt and I are adrenaline junkies and inspire each other on a daily basis in our personal and professional lives.”

“We are best friends, and our goal is to always just have fun together to make the best memories. We both know life is short, and we make the most of it.”
